biography
The Parisian director Christophe Navarre, started as 1st AD in France and in the US (where he lived a while) working on worldwide campaigns such as Nike, VW, Renault, Ford, Levi’s, Diesel, Orangina… and collaborating also to music videos for U2, Bjork, REM, Daft Punk, Beck…
He assisted numerous well-known directors such as JB Mondino, S.Sednaoui, P.André, E.Ifergan, J.Camitz, G.Verbinsky, M.Venville…
He also worked on the feature films of the famous French directors Jean-Jacques Beinex (“Roselyne et les lions”) and Maurice Pialat (“Van Gogh”).
In 2000, he started directing commercials & music videos, and won the Young director award in Cannes 2000, with his Bouygues film.
With his Decathlon film, Christophe was selected to be in the Saatchi Showcase (best 20 upcoming directors of the world), shown during the Cannes film Festival in 2001.
In 2002, he organized his own Photos exhibition in Paris.
Then, Christophe joined Satellite/Propaganda, then RSA in the USA, and directed the Us campaigns for brands such as Lexus, American Airlines, Usda, Citibank…
Besides music videos (Mirwais etc.), he directed the French campaigns of BMW, FNAC, Wanadoo, EDF, CIC, Société Generale, BNP, Crédit agricole, Oxford… where he proved, once again, his impressive skills in post-production and comedy.
He has recently written a movie script for the big screen and is developing his photo work for an upcoming exhibition in Paris.
Drawing is also now a new expression of his vision.
